Project Brief:
The senior management sought to refresh the look of the NAHREP spring conference, which had undergone a name change to NAHREP Homeownership & Wealth Building Conference, with a new focus on industry rather than policy. The objective was to create an industrial identity that symbolized knowledge attainment, growth, and homeownership.
Solution:
Took an industrial approach to the identity, a great way to represent knowledge attainment and growth while also more abstractly representing a home.
Initially, I had designed this identity utilizing a similar formula structure to previous NAHREP brands. Utilizing the NAHREP logo as a roof housing the identity within the organization, however after delivering some concepts it became clear that we were looking to move into a completely new direction for the event.
Went back to the drawing board with some fresh modern concepts inspired by other large scale events and modern design style with a more approachable feel. Two concepts were chosen to be made with the NAHREP logo for the final decision.
